Drop - Blogs and Blog posts

Shopify allows you to multiple Blogs in your store. Think of a Blog as a magazine and the Articles within that blog as its pages. The Blog page of your theme will show your articles in a chronological order - most recent first based on the published date of the article.

Blog section settings

The Blog contains settings which control the appearance of its content.

• Posts per page
  Choose how many articles / posts are shown on each page before pagination is shown.
• Posts per row
  Choose how many articles / posts are shown per row for a stacked or grid layout.
• Image ratio
  Use built in tools within the theme to help equalize the image ratios for your blog post featured images for a neater alignment.
• Show published date
• Toggle the date the article was published
• Show author
  Toggles visibility of the article author
• Show tags
  Toggle the visibility of tags applied to the article which can be used to show a filtered view of other posts sharing the same tag.
• Show comment count
  Toggle display of the number of comments for each post.

Blog posts / articles contain article body and sidebar blocks which allow you to present more content.

Article sidebar

• Author
  Shows the author of the current article
• Social share
  Add social sharing icons to promote content on Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook
• Recent articles
  Show recent articles from the current blog
• Tag list
  Show tags from the current article which link to other articles that share the same tags

• Content
  Shows and positions the current article content
• Pagination
  Show pagination navigation for article comments
• Comments
  Show and position comments for the current article
