Multi currency

Our themes all include a multi-currency option allowing you to sell in alternate currencies. The multi-currency conversion is powered by Shopify and delivered to the theme by Shopify. You must be using Shopify Payments to have access to these features.  If you are not using Shopify Payments, you will need to use a third-party app to enable currency conversions.

Themes prior to 2022 will see it referred to as the Currency Selector in the Theme. More recent themes will see it referred to as the Country Selector.

Please review the setup based on the respective selector in your theme:

Country Selector

Enable the country selector button

To enable the language selector button in your theme you'll want to go to your Header, Announcement Bar, or Footer (theme dependent) and select “Enable country/region selector”.

Set up Shopify Markets

This feature requires you to set up multiple countries/regions in your Shopify Market.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to SettingsMarkets

  2. Click the Add market button in the top right corner

  3. Add your Market name

  4. Click Add countries/regions and make your selections and click Done

  5. Click Save

When you have your markets set up, your customers will be able to view prices, pay for orders and receive refunds in their local currency. Prices are converted automatically, but you can set exchange rates manually.
