Foodie - Pages

Pages simply render the content that you have applied to them. The page section only has an option to adjust the text alignment of your page content from Left to Center. For more powerful layouts, we recommend utilizing sections to create a more compelling presentation without the need for code, frustrating apps or layout hacks.

When working with a page, the sections that you add will be visible on all of other pages that share that same template. If you would like to create some different pages all of which have unique section content we recommend creating some alternate templates, see our creating alternate templates doc for more detail.

Foodie page templates

Foodie includes 5 page templates. Default will render the page content; add to this by including sections to feature other content from your store.

Foodie also includes a Contact page template which will load a contact form on the front end of the theme when viewed by customers.

To use the Contact page template, in your main Shopify admin open: Online storepages Open the page you wish to assign to the template and on the right side under Template choose: page.contact

Click Save when done - this will automatically show a contact form when visited in your store.

The about template comes preloaded with the page content hidden, so it relies entirely on sections, which are banner image, rich text, image with text, editorial columns, and image with text, though they can all be edited/removed.

The locations template comes preloaded without a page content section, has a banner image and a locations section.

The FAQ template comes preloaded with a banner image, page content, accordion, editorial columns, and two images with text sections.
