In case you missed our mail shot today we launched our latest Responsive Shopify Theme: Play
Available in 3 Presets - Cosmopolitan, Old Fashioned & Tequila Sunrise the Play Shopify theme is a monster but in a good way!
Built to capitalise on the Mobile Shopping Boom Play is optimised for Mobile, Tablet, Notebook & Desktop users ( Yes it works on a Chromebook too! )
Scaling up to a massive 2560px wide even the die hard Computer power user with a 27" Cinema display can enjoy your products in all their glory with product and collection pages running at full screen... Collections scaling up to 9 products per row in full width or 8 per row when using the sidebar collection template included.
The Homepage features a Full width image slideshow with captions which can be switched out for a full screen responsive video embedded from popular video hosting sites such as Youtube or Vimeo.
Beneath this A Featured Collection can be added with up to 48 products easily via Theme settings.
Easily feature all collections also on your homepage with a few clicks as well as your 5 most recent blog articles and contact form with optional Google Maps
Collection pages also benefit from the full width view showing products on a single line in Mobile ( 2 per row when horizontal ) 3 per row on Ipad & 4 per row up to 9 per row depending on the width of your customers screen.
A product quick shop option had been added for increased shopper convenience along with an optional tag filtering system to give you increased sub navigation.
2 Templates come packed with the theme which can be chosen per collection in either a product full width or products + sidebar.
The sidebar can carry up to 4 linklists + Shop by vendor as well as a list style filtering system.
Shopify Product pages are where the real quality lies, if you have good product imagery show it off in the scaleable slideshow with click to enlarge, share items across social networks & enable lightbox additional content to keep the customer on the page where the buying decisions are made.
Add to Cart but don't follow is also included from the product pages allowing customers to add their items without being sent to the checkout straight away.
A smart Shopping cart drop down system tied to the main navigation allows customers an overview of products they have added with quick admin steps to fine tune their purchase.
We also added a couple of extra bits to give you guys the best possible experience.
- Soundcloud audio player with popup mode for uninterrupted listening
- Google Web Fonts give you more choice over type
- Icon Fonts via Font Awesome are used instead of images throughout the site for optimum display
- Sub Navigation for products, collections and blog articles across various templates.
